The cutest little car in the entire world could now be yours! We are offering a limited amount of Golden Opportunity Tickets, to win a brand new Smart Car! The proceeds benefit the Beverly Hills High School Madrigals & Minnesingers (our top-notch choirs if ya didn't already know!)
Yes, I know you may be saying, "but it's Beverly Hills High School;" contrary to common belief, the school does not have solid gold desks or catered lunches from Puck. Our program basically relies on the dedicated boosters ability to come up with successful fund raising efforts in order to maintain (and surpass) the reputation that years of excellence has afforded.
If you'd like to participate, shoot me an email and I'll give you the details...let's just say that the odds are extremely good (and the donation is tax deductible!) Big thanks to Beverly Hills Mercedes Benz/Smart Center; they've arranged us to bypass the two year long wait list in order to present this opportunity!
(BTW...I'm still posting on my www.suzifiner.typepad.com account as a rule...)

Drove out to the edges of civilization...
Porter Ranch, that is. (No offense.)
Why, you may ask?
Well, for the best reasons: meeting up with best-selling author Linda Woods and artist Holly Dye! I picked up this scrumptious box of Paulette Macarons for Linda...flavors (from left:)

Caramel, Peach, Pistachio, Mocha, Lemon, Coconut, Earl Grey and the pink one on the end is Almond.
Mmmmm!
Why were we meeting up on a Tuesday night? To take a peek at the very first copy of Journal Revolution, Linda's follow-up book to the number one Visual Chronicles!
Wow!
Totally impressive.

(and yes, that is my Apple Martini.)
Chicken breast with mushrooms, tomato and avocado (I removed every trace of bacon; no need to go there!)
Our waitress, Shannon. She was sweet and sassy, and truly professional. She made our night so pleasant!

...and another peek at the counter of Paulette.

Lucky to be here...
A marvellous new "macaron" shop just opened on Charleville Blvd (at Beverly Drive,) called Paulette. I can't say enough about the exquisite flavors and texture of these light-as-air tongue-pleasing bits of delicious...each colorful creation is more yummy than the last!
Coming to my neighborhood? You'll have to make sure and try them. I have a feeling that these macarons are totally addictive (oh no!)
